Does anyone know the reserve capacity and cold cranking amps of a stock '00 DII battery? |

I think the CCA of the stock battery is 650 not sure about the reserve capacity but if you are thinking about putting on some big lights and winch on your truck you should go big at least 900 CCAs or buy Optima. |

I am trying to get the info so I know how long it will last if I use it as an aux power source after I get an Optima to replace it. I want to hook a solar panel to it to keep it juiced. |

Eric, If you are keeping it in the engine bay, fine. Just remember that automotive batteries tend to leak, so if you are planning on putting it anywhere else, get a second Optima instead. I have never seen a standard automotive battery that didn't leak, and I have been leaked on by most of them. Cheers, Kennith |

Kennith, good to know; thanks for your leaking experience. I will have to fiqure something out to keep it in the bay or go for another optima. |
