Went to install my brand spanking new stainless steel brake lines but i couldnt b/c all the compression fittings on the 'rigid brake piping' from the ABS/master cylinder to the flexible brake hose has seized. i have tried everything, from pb blaster to heat and even bought a flare nut wrench... has any one run into this problem? is their any where to get new brake piping aside from the ? |

You could go to NAPA and buy a metric 3/16" male brake line fitting. Then you'll have to cut the brake line above the frozen assembly and install the new fitting. Make sure you have a bubble flaring tool to do the job. Bring the flex line with you to make sure you get the right fitting. |

Bubble flare? Do our LRs use bubble flares like old 1960's trucks or do they use the more modern double flare as is common on almost all vehicles? -P |
