Baja Claws, any opinions?

I'm looking to purchase a set of 33's but wanted to hear some opinions. LT305/70R16(33x12.50-16) They have a mean tread that would look to be good in the mud (though apparently not?), but not really on side traction. I.e. driving on a hill, horizontally. Ride quality is important as well. Anyone's input is welcomed! Honestly, I just really like the tread design, but if they're gona suck to drive, and offroad.. there's no point to buying them. Mostly stated that they were terrible in mud, and not good for use as a road tire. But as for daily driving, and not to mention in the rain.... they really, how can I put this.... they suck! 40k miles and they are worn out. Excelent offroad tire, but poor onroad tire? I'm keeping the set of michilens on the wheels I have now, but they look pretty small with the 3" lift. I'm also not sure if I'm keeping this truck or not. Maybe I'll drive them for the summer. Would anybody want the set if I sell the Rover?
