There's nothing on their site, so is there anyone who knows if there's gonna be another event this year, out in Vermont? Last year's was the first, (not exclusively Rover) VTXS event and was really good. The previous RoverFest's were a bit lame.
Anyone, Paul? Garrett?

well i don't know. i am pretty sure paul will not be making the homage back up there. it (the event) left a pretty sour taste in more than just a couple of peoples mouth. and i have yet to hear anything of another one this year. i am expecting them to run it again.
what i saw from last year that was better than the previous years were the level of trails. in the previous years they were all very lame trails and at least last year they were a little more challanging.
there still seems like they need to work out a few bugs. many of the rides were crowded with too many people making the time sitting in your truck long and annoying.
and as paul, jason j. and greg can confirm the camping situation was a hassle. from the sounds of it the event people were acting like tools.
if i have the time this summer i will go. i don't need an excuse to go to Vermont and hang out Long Trail Brewery for a few hours. :-)

oh i know. i still have a few 6 packs of #9 in my fridge. i cherrish it like it were a vintage bottle of wine. it's reserved for only the few priveledged people that enter my home. ME!
the Magic Hat brewery is in south burlington. went there a few times. that is a good 2-3 hour drive though. long trail is about 10 min. and they sell kegs there too. bought one last year for the group! a peaceful little place right on the river. :-)

I would also high recommend anything from the brewery link below, especially if you can find it on tap. They do growlers and six packs for home use. Mmmmmm I think I'll go get one now from my special basement beer fridge.......

yep. good stuff. the Vermont Brew Fest down along the park in Burlington is always a must for me. had Rock Art on many occassions. also very much enjoyed Otter Creeks Copper Ale. just don't get me started on New England beers. :-)

Mmmm Magic Hat #9 MMmmm MMMmm Good.

Hey Garrett,

Instead of Killington this year (if they have one) I am going to SAE. Every person I talk to says that SOLAROS runs an incredible event and it's worth the drive.

Hey Garrett,

Just bring me a sixer of #9 and I'll tell the locals to be nice to you.

Not to beat a dead horse but the link below describes another great beer made here in VT. I find that my wife will insist I work outside the next day after consuming their beer. I think it's the bottle conditioning.
