Can anyone recommend a US publication of any Land Rover magazine that may be available. The only ones Ive noticed are British publications not that there anything wrong with that. Thanks in advance for the info.

Yeah, LROI is a great mag, I just picked up the April issue last night. The bummer is that is cost me $8.50!
As for domestic LR mags, I don't know of any, although 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility is pretty fair about including Rovers in it's stories. Cheap too :-)

You could always try "Rovers Across America" I hear their first issue is coming out soon... ;-)

(funny to those that remember).

The last that I heard was they were trying to retool the magazine to something less Rover specific and more "adventure" oriented. After that, I think they just kind of faded off into obscurity. I suspect that they just didn't have or underestimated the capital needed to start up a publication...

On a more serious note to you Bob, I've found that Land Rover World and Land Rover Monthly tend to usually have the best US coverage.

Thanks,

Although I don't read many Rover magazines, I must say Land Rover Monthly is really good about US stuff... Heck, they even have 2 pictures of my G in the April issue!! :-)

April Issue.
If you don't get it then remind me before we next all get together and I'll bring it. I like LRM the best. I also get LROI and LRE .....and have seen and like LRW as well....need a subsript to that one....anybody got a link for that? When I stop and think that I spend about $180/yr on three subsriptions I am just amazed! Ridiculus...so I should make it $240 for 4 mags instead!

That's nothing, Jason. Garrett already has a mag that he carries around with him that has a pic of him and the caption says "proud to be dirty". I think the mag is called something like Ham Slammers...

Try LR Enthusiast (spelling?) It is British but farly new out. I switched to it from LROI. About the same layout but there is a dedicatd N. American section and article, usually by Rovers North every month. About as close to US as possible

My copies of LRM finally came in via USPS.

There are two really good articles by our stateside british friend Steve Hoare (who we call English).

Damn, I feel like somebody now that the Pig made it into a magazine.

Funny that you guys call Steve "English" when he's actually Welsh!?!?!?!?! But he is a damn fine writer! So apart from the 2 articles Paul, did you like LRM?
