When my engine gets to operating tempature, and at low to mid RPM's it starts hesitating, or missing as if it's not getting enough fuel. However if I floor it, she seems to run out fine. It idles fine - so far. I replaced the fuel filter this morning thinking that it was starved for gas, but that didn't work. It has new plugs, old wires. Sorry that I can't give a better description of the problem, but it just started yesterday. any thoughts? Chip 97 D1 86K miles |

Mine was doing this a few days ago, but it was also at start up. I checked under the hood and found the breather hose, after the MAF sensor was coming loose. I just pushed it back on and tightened it and everything was fine. May be worth a look? |

D. thanks for the reply. no loose connection at the intake. today, a very humid day here in atlanta, the truck was MUCH worse. It could just be my imagination, however, it has been fairly mild, today I get into the truck and the hesitation around 2000 RPM's is very noticable, to the point of the transmission shifting to compensate for the lack of power. |
