Hi, I live in Australia and have been reading the Overlander May 2003 magazine P104. A Person is reporting 1 Weld in the rear diff crack 2 RH intermediate body mount has collapsed and has caused cracks in the fire wall 3 The Spot welds in the area of the RH head light have sprung, caused the collapsed body mount. 4 Rust around the Alpine windows. It looks like has a 1998 TDI. Just wondering if anyone else has reported any of the above problems.? Thanks

Hi A lot of the more severe problems can be attributed to the fact, that cars in Oz really get used. looks like a case of neglect. Discoverys rust the world over though. All the best Pete S. |
