I just got off the phone with my local L/R dealer and now they are saying that they aren't going to beable to repair the rust on my 98 Disco. It has rust in the door jams of the back doors. (nothing new) Now originally they told me my car was covered. Now they say since the rust isn't on a body panel they aren't going to be able to do it. Does anybody have another phone number I could try for a reginal office or something??? I am in Central NJ. Any help would be appreciated.

Which dealer in central NJ did you use? You could always try another dealer... There are many of them in the area. Consensus seems to be that the Paul Miller Land Rover dealers (Woodbridge or Parsippany) are very good.

I just got screwed by my local dealer and LRNA about rust around the alpine windows. The warrenty is done by in service date no model year. My rig was two months out of the inservice warrenty date and they said - NOPE cant help you. They wonder why we buy our parts and get our rigs serviced at other locations. My dealer locally treats me worse than the local chevy dealer.

That doesn't sound right. It sounds like you have rust similar to where I did (back door dog legs) and LRNA covered it. Mine is also a 98 Disco.
