So I'm looking at all these 'spy photos' of the new disco, and I'm really digging the new headlights. Does anyone know if they will fit in my DI???? :-) :-) :-)

ha ha, I almost forgot about THAT thread.... LOL

Nah, I'm just having some fun. I figure it cant hurt to have threads in the archives with people talking about how dumb the idea is BEFORE the 05 even comes out, not that they would search anyway :-) :-)

But dude, Its all about the spy shots. How did Testors build the B-2 plastic models and have them available almost a year before the military even admitted their was a B-2?

Carter, Have you considered the headlights from a 1972 Pinto? I've posted this before and it got an overwhelming response. LOL!!

Carter,
I did some checking for you and Brian Friend at Land Rover Colorado Springs has put together a retro fit kit for the 05 lamps to attach to a D1. The part number is LRNAL$O$S$E$R. He has a few in stock and the current price is $2,200. The D2 kit is in the works:-)

Sean,
Way off the thread subject, but it's been dumping here for two days, somehwere around 30" or so. WP is closed, and they closed Berthoud Pass. All this powder and no where to play:-)
Disco got stuck this am for the first time. I tried to drive through the plow bank at the end of my drive, about 4 feet of wet snow, uphill. Almost made it, but the front end was pushing too much. Snow up to the drivers window, so I had to climb out the passenger door, and shovel out the front wheels.
Both rear wheels were off the ground, due to snow pushed up under the frame.
...Maybe if I had those '05, or even '03 lights, I could have made it!

Jack,
We had a snow day here as well. We only got about 8" or so though. Thought about making a run for A-basin but I needed an allignment for the D90 so I'm off to Colorado Springs:-( Brian is working on a kit to fit those 05 headlights on my 94 D90. I can't wait!
