Oh God, should I even answer?!!!!

Hello everyone...I was just thinking "I've been neglecting Discoweb!!" but never fear...I'm back! I've been checking out a few new Rovers in my town and am still thinking of you all....BUT...

I have to travel out of town this weekend for work and can't go to Uhwharrie (sp?) which upsets me...and Ivan and I are getting married in 31 days! OH GOD! So, I've been VERY BUSY! We have planned a 9 day trip to Hawaii for the honeymoon which is great, and we might even rent a JEEP (sorry, no rovers to rent) but that's about all the extra news I've got. I was avoiding all the war talk on the BBS.

No, for Kim and KJ...I don't know!

I have never spent any time in the non-tech area, but that's some seriously funny banter. And you may all have some deep rooted issues...I'm sure I'll find myself in here more often

Well, hey there Leslie!

I've been less visible here for a variety of reasons. I *have* been very busy the past few weeks, with happy things and a few sad things, and that's taken up a lot of my time. But, I've also been purposely not much in attendence the past few weeks, too.

I come to DiscoWeb for a little fun and stress relief, and maybe even to learn a thing or two, but I'll be totally honest and say that long about the end of February I was feeling less than welcomed. I don't know if it was my posting style, my topics or what, but a couple of threads I either began or was a poster on were closed by the site owners without explanation. Another thread at that time that was a shout-out to me (I can't even recall the reason) was closed immediately, and we were told to take our chit-chat to email. Perhaps my notes didn't carry the import as something like, "Girls, learn to pee standing up" (which didn't offend me, BTW), but given the nature of the "General" section here, they were pretty typical notes, snow reports and the like, which were being posted by many others at the same time. Seemed a few members were getting their DiscoWeb access cut off during the same time frame, and I noticed a drop-off in posts in general. I've been reading and posting on this board for nearly two years, and I'd never seen this sort of thing go on before. I thought maybe I'd just give it some time and let whatever was going on get sorted out. Also, like Sus, I was weary of war talk, so I just disengaged. Hope you're not sorry you asked!

Karen :-)

I doubt any malice was directed towards you or any other female Rover owners, Karen (you do know that all my unkooth BS is posted in jest?). And for the record, Karen...is it ménage de trois, menage a trois, menage ah trois, or 3some? :-)

P.S. Ashhole sounds like she'll fit right in!

LOL, sorry about that Ashhole.

You should hear us pick on Leslie Bright, aka "Les Bright". Now that I think about it, it's a bit odd that Leslie is asking about the ladies....hmmmm.... :-)

Hey Leslie & gang :-)

Well, it was just becoming too uncouth/kooth for me ....

Nah, my computer time has been sporadic/limited at best lately .. just busy. Hate to just post and then run. Looks like I picked a good day to check in ... Just read the "2005 Disco Spy Shots" thread. I honestly haven't laughed out loud that hard in days (LOL, sad but true). Ahhhhhhhhh, [nice exhale] that was great. :-)

Best wishes to all!

Blue-
No harm, no foul. I expect that kind of thing to happen by now. But I wouldn't worry Andy, My rifle's only accurate out to 800 meters, shooter dependent. I'm only accurate out to 1500. Utah and Arizona are well out of my range. You should be all good. I can already see why my best friend back in Texas(he has a 96 disco I) is addicted to this thing.

Hey Karen glad to see you back!!! I havn't wanted to start a thread to ask you this, it would obviously be a matter for private e-mail. Would you post some pics of the farm now that all the snow is gone and spring is springing. Spring on the farm is on thing I do miss now that I'm living in the burbs.
