Long story short, I have had really bad millage and power for 5 or so months and the check engine light kept comng on. Dealer kept telling me it was bad gas and they have been getting alot of the same complaints, although I was not so sure. It got worse and they finally replaced the MAF under warranty. My Question: If the engine was running say rich or whatever, would or could that cause me any long-term damage to the engine or something on my '00 DII? It was like this for 5 months. |

running rich is good for your engine. not rich to the point when gasoline starts diluting the oil, though. |
