I've noticed an external coolant leak, fairly steady stream that lasted a couple of minutes, from an area near front axle more towards passenger front wheel or very back of engine. I could not really see where it was leaking from (was at the store and was not able to jack it up to look). Checked visible hoses and did not seem to be involved. Not a catastrophic leak but at least a quart or more leaked out. It has occurred twice intermittently and seems to occur after an extented drive with AC on. Did not leak after drive home with AC off. Heater core??? No leaking into truck that I have seen. Would appreciate any thoughts on where the leak could be? Thanks. |

Is it actually coolant, actually green in color? Or or condensation from the A/C? |

I had exact same circumstane the other day. Turned out had a pin hole leak in heater hose that was peeing down toward bellhousing. Replaced the hoses (5/8" one end- 3/4" the other---gotta love Landrover!). Too soon to tell if that was only source. |
