"the Xterra is our first forray into the world of offroading, whatever degree of "extreme" you label it. None of us have dilusions of accomplishing the same things as a Disco, CJ, Mog or G-Wagon. That's preposterous." ROTFLMAO! I like how we got thrown in with the mog etc. its like he remembers the disco guys coming and kicking the x's ass. Ron "I am not extreme, I just break shit" "I don't break shit, I am in product testing and development" |

My wife was trading in her Honda at a Nissan dealer and we had the Disco out on the curb while we were there. The salesguys kept trying to get me to trade the Disco in on one of the Xterras. I sat in one and it felt like I was on the floorboard, the driver position is so low. The salesguy didn't have much to say when I crawled underneath looking for the front diff. I asked him if the front diff. had fallen off or if they typically put priority on the roofrack option before the 4wd option. He left me alone after that. The fit and finish was definitely up to Asian par - nice seals and reveals, but the metal is still Shaeffer-can thin.
