96-Disco 5-Speed. Hi guys - I have two sets of brake pads in my shed - both look the same, but there's a rogue - single pad that is small. I'm wondering if it even goes to my truck (which my fiance' is driving today & I couldn't even look at). Besides, why jack up a truck on my shaky peastone driveway when the guys at DiscoWeb always have the answers! So again - are the front pads same as the rear? -JA |

No, the rear pads and the front are not identical. The front ones have two holes at the top for the pins to attach to the caliper. The rear ones have a tab at the top. |

and like most vehicles, the rear pads are smaller than the front ones. |
