Just saw a DHL badged Ford Transit diesel going through Central Square Cambridge Ma, followed by a normal DHL Ford E series van.... I know Fedex is using the Mercedes Sprinters so is there perhaps hope that Ford's Euro spec diesels will actually come here? Websites for the diesel suggest a wimpy 98hp in these vehicles... Anyone with contacts at DHL? | ||

Ford is developing a V-6 version of the new powerstoke V-8 for F150 and Expedition. From what I have read it is expected to produce over 250 HP and over 300 FP of torque. One can only pray that Ford will offer this motor in the LR brand. As a side note my father has a F250 with the old (7.3) powerstroke in it and with a larger turbo and intercooler he is getting over 500 FP of torque. I just hope LR gets a •••••• that can handle the power if we are lucky enough to get the deisel.--Matt |
