I have an '03 SE with 18's. I read on another forum that somone ran 265/75/16 with no problems. My question is: Can I run 285/60/18's? I calculated the diameter to be 31.46in. Will there be any problems with this size>? |

Ralph, I have '03 SE, and I ran 265/75/R16 Goodyear MTRs for about 2 weeks before putting 2 inches of lift on my truck. And I did not have ANY problems with that size. There was no rubbing even during full turns. I even took it off road a bit to test out the tires, and there was no rubbing either. I think the front bumper is little higher than the pre-'03 discos. However, I'm not sure how the extra width will effect your ride. |
