how do i know if i have a leak there? last night it was pouring raing here and i felt a bit of water, more light like light drops hitting my right foot. i looked down by the door and it was wet right next to door frame closest the front. i also hit some mud holes behind where i live that where pretty deep. up to the headlights on one. no leaking though except for maybe this anyway i chekced the seal around the windshield and the outer seal that runs lengthwise at the top is not flush its a bit loose like it was once glued on.. any thoughts would help..cheers |

Its loose like it was once glued on because it was once glued on. Now you have to glue it back on, I have used silicon the two times mine has done it and haven't had to do it again yet (two leaks in different places). |

I used to have the problem but persisted enough that I had to change the seal... now it doesnt do it .. but NOW I have a leak coming from the rear sunroof and only the rear so it shouldnt be the drainage ducts of the sunroof, which we're taken care of the last time the car was in for the leak, cause they didnt know where it was coming from... I think I had several leaks but this one is the only one still bugging and rainy season just started thats why it hadnt bugged in a while... help me.. any suggestions? its a 97' Tdi |
