Allright...just so I know that I'm a lock for the "dumbest question" award....

how long (on average) are spark plugs supposed to last? Hard driving...playing in the mud sometimes...towing...etc.
just curious.

Champion rn12 plugs were traditionally changed every 15,000 miles in Jaguar, MG, Rover, Rolls Royce and other British vehicles. Land Rover stretched that to 30,000 but nothing happened to make the plug more durable, they just decided to run it longer. For best performance use the 15k interval.
