The tire store lost my Lug nut key. If it is the Mcgard locks, They suck.   Roland Kutasi (Disco1) Member Username: Disco1 Post Number: 99 Registered: 10-2002 Posted on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 - 06:46 pm:    Chris, you could wait 6 months or so until the lock nut cap corrodes sufficiently around the nut at which time you will be able to undo them without the key ( my experience). The other problem with lock nuts is that if you have you truck in for service and they need to remove your wheels to check your brakes etc and your at home with the key....get the picture! They are a pain in the ass.
