The active cornering option just paid for itself on my wife’s 2003 Discovery.
She was going down the interstate and drifted into the median, panicked and tried to turn back onto the highway to fast, lost control sliding down the interstate sideways at 70 mph then doing several spins before coming to rest on the other side of the road. The unit did not roll over and she walked away unhurt, although the disco sustained damage from contact with the guard rail

Glad to hear everyone is safe.

Someone correct me if I am wrong though but I though all that fancy stuff turned off at higher speeds??

Discos might look extremely top heavy given their exagerated roof line but I have been extremely impressed with their stability.

It doesn't turn off, it continues to work above .4g but at reduced effort. It still keeps the body from swaying as much as a passive system would allow above .4g.

Glad to hear there were no injuries.

Forgot to add I was in front of her pulling my 5th wheel and watched the whole thing in my mirror.

Corey sure could use this as ammo. Then again were talking about a people mover here, aren't we?

Dick, I'm glad your wife is ok.

Wow Dick, Amazing! I think I would need a large quality beverage after seeing my wife do Formula 1 spins down a Freeway in a Disco.
