Jesse, That is awsome man!!! I am going to use it! Carter, I had to do a project on an endangered species, so I chose the African Elephant. I am putting together a triptic display, and everybody knows that I am a Rover nut, so I wanted to throw one in the pictures. As far as the old British Leyland add goes, a guy brought that into school for me last year, he got it out of a National Geographic. Thanks, Will |

Hey Will, Do you go to the High School off Lewisville-Clemmons in Clemmons? I run by there every day and see a Range Rover similar (exact?) to yours. I live in Springfield Farms (that development by the school) and work over at Wake Forest/Baptist Hospital. Just wondering.

Ya know, I wished I had seen this last night.... there's a cartoon that I have somewhere about not hunting elephants because of the size of the decoys, and has an elephant in the back of a Series.... Hmmm.... I wonder where I'd have that thing at now.... -L

Will, My local dealer (Paramus, NJ) has an official LR ad poster in their showroom that has a picture of a D90 with an Elephant trying to hump it from behind (seriously!). The caption reads "Everyone loves a Land Rover" I might be stopping there tomorrow, if I remember to bring my camera, I'll snap a picture of it for you. Anyway, this is what I found for now. Leslie, Thanks! I had to turn it in today though Glenn, I think I remember seeing that at some point...I would love to see a pic though! I turned in the triptic with the above photochoped picture on it, and half the class thought that I was serious. This one girl was like "I don't understand the thing about the sitting elephant, do they really come and sit on your vehicles?" I just busted up laughing...Thanks Jesse for the pic! Will |

Will, that reminds me of this girl I new in high school.... Among some of the many dumb questions she asked were: -Do snakes live in the snow? -How much did the slaves get paid? -If the power goes out why does my car still work? -So Mexico borders the US? And then there was her famous 'moment of enlightenment' in American History where she exclaimed for no apparent reason "I didn't know Abraham Lincoln was black!!!!" This was one of the best examples of your stereotypical dumb blond I have ever found. |
