Turning chrome to black

Author Message   Blake Luse (Muddyrover) Senior Member Username: Muddyrover Post Number: 826 Registered: 02-2002 Posted on Friday, May 02, 2003 - 06:05 pm:    I have some chrome lights that are rusting and I don't like chrome much anyways. I am wanting to spray paint them black. Do I need to scrape the chrome off (if thats possible), then primer and then paint with high heat paint? Thats what I've come up with. It was made from that shiny silver duct tape. truly a classic example
