Well, why not reuse the last one. It's already paid for. I guess Jeep is putting some major bucks into the picture.

"We view Jeep as the perfect partner in this film because the brand's attributes are a natural fit with the Lara Croft character,"

and

“To create the vehicle, we took the ultimate off-road machine, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and tailored it to fit what aristocratic Lady Lara Croft, would need to do her job as a tomb raider,”

At first thought,I was sure the film makers forgot the Lara Croft character is British. Now, I'm sure they forgot she is British--what would the Queen say!

All tolled--I kind of like the Lara Croft jeep, but where do the tires go when you hit a bump?

In the 2nd Tomb Raider Lara Crofts' stock portfolio takes a dive! She is forced to trade her Mansion in England, and Land Rover, for a small apartment in a overly populated city in the U.S., and drive a cheap wrangler!!! Hey, everyones feeling the crunch!

Wow. I wonder how much bank was thrust into that movie to get that product placement. Oh well, at least this one can actually be bought in the US.

Yeah Tom and the sad thing is a read somewhere that they actually are planning on selling a version of it to the public. As Doug points out I hope they scale the tires down or add some giant bumpstops. As much work as they probably did on that thing it still looks like a cheap jeep with some cheesy plastic fender flares to me.

After all the "special" work on the Land Rover in TR1, it got about 15 seconds of screen time. Now that its a Chrysler product it will probably be the star of the show.

I thought the H2 was already getting top billing for "Tomb Raider III: Lara Croft and then Jewels of Suburbia." :-)

Well if she just abandons the thing in the woods again, then why not a jeep?

You guys are all wrong- TRIII will feature Lara in a Pontiac Aztec on some swampers and a nice lift. It even comes with a snorkel and soccer mom stickers on the windows.
