I've done a search and can't seem to find this answer... Are the bulbs in the instrument surround switches accessible? - I've removed them but can't get them apart to check this 97 Disco SE |

OK I got to the bulb and broke it trying to get it out - they're tiny!! Are replacements available at Radio Shack or somewhere? |

On my '96, the lights on the switches are easy to get out. Once you have taken the switch out there are two slotted discs on the side of the switch. These are the bulbs. Sometimes they are red, sometimes green, maybe orange too? About a quarter tuyrn and they will almost fall out of the switch. Now if you are talking about removing the bulbs from the plastic bulb holders, I don't know. However they look li8ke a scaled down version of the clock bulb, so you might be able to replace them. -Reed |
