The cargo door will not lock. when i press the lock button on my remote, it appears to work fine, with all lights on and all five lock buttons on the doors going down, but even with it locked you can open the rear door, setting the alarm off. it just sounds to me like something is loose inside the door. any suggestions? |

When this happened on my 95 Disco, it was the outside release handle hanging up from lack of lubrication since it is on the back of the truck and gets all the swirling slop thrown on it. I just WD-40 everything I could from the outside and then pulled off the rear panel cover and sprayed all the linkages there. It works fine now. |
