Has anyone tried Rhino Lining as an undercoat? Is it worth it? Does anyone know anywhere in NC this can be done?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am not familiar with POR-15. Can you provide any information concerning this product. Is it readily available? Generally is this a product that would have to be applied at home or is it available as undercoating at certain places?

Thank you for any assistance.

Here is the link. I personally like it better for undercoatings. Don't get me wrong Linex and Rhino lining is great for areas where traction is needed, but POR is smooth and paintable if you wish. It can also be put on at any body shop as it is similiar in texture to paint. WHile it isn't cheap a little goes a long way. I did my whole floor of my RR from firewall to tailgate. I bought a quart and I still have 1/3 left. Good luck, what part of NC are you in. http://www.por15.com/

Thank you for the information. I have been able to go to the web page and get some information. I live in Wilmington, NC - right on the coast. That is the main reason I am looking for good rust prevention. I occasionally do some runs at Fort Fisher and Topsail Island and want to make sure that my RR has a good long life.

Hey I live in wilmington. I drive a light blue RR with roofrack. It is lifted and has 32s on it. Ron at the dealership is starting a club here. If you would like I will get the number for the shop that did it for my friend. I used it myself, but he did a frame off restoration on his camaro and it was done locally.

Hi Aaron,

I believe I have seen your RR. Do you live in a neighborhood off Gordon? I have a Silver 89 with a roof rack (currently painting). I also spoke with Ron this past weekend and he mentioned the club. That sounds great. I have been trying to find some people to do some trail riding.

I will try to give you a call sometime this weekend in between the massive amout of yard work that has been piling up. Has Ron done anything formal with the club yet? I have been meaning to give him a call this week and see where he stands. I am itching to try out the new OME springs.

No and I wouldn't expect it to take off with blazing speed. I am waiting on an ecu before I can do to much wheeling. Should be in by tuesday.
