Hey All...

Bright chillun #3 has arrived, Abby's here!!!

Abigail Elise Bright was born today, Sunday Feb 17th, at 7:46 AM EST.... 7lb, 3.8 oz, 19 1/2" long.

She's perfectly healthy, everything went great! We arrived at the hospital at 6:15, and she was born 1 1/2 hours later. No complications, Laura's doing fine.

Just thought I'd share..... lol....

:)

My 6yo daughter liked jeeps until we went wheelin' with one. Now she makes fun of them.

so, where are the pics? We all know that you brought your laptop to the hospital and you're sneaking in a little websurfing action while mom & baby snooze...:)

LOL, no, I didn't bring the laptop along... lol...

Since we arrived at the hospital around 6:15 AM Sunday morning, all I grabbed were the wife's bag and the baby's bag... but 20/20 hindsight, the laptop would've been handy, lol...

The inlaws took the other two kids with them, so I stayed at the hospital until late. I came home, though, because I had to bring the dogs in onto the back porch (it was a cold blustery day!) and feed them and the cats. Checked email quickly, and posted here.

Went back today, and was at the hospital the most of the day again. I still only have film cameras, but my father-in-law has a digital camera, was snapping pics, and will email some to me so I can post them here 'til I get mine scanned in. I came back home tonight with the other two kids, since they both need to be back to school tomorrow.

Anyway... everything has gone completely fine. Laura's doing well, baby Abby's perfect, Mandy and Alex are excited to have a little sister, so all is well. By the third kid, it's not such a shock anymore to us parents, lol....

ASAP, you'll see 'em, when I get the pics..... :)

L8R,

-L

Congratulations Leslie, Laura, and girls! That is wonderful news, and I'm glad to hear that things went so smoothly (if lil' Abby is anything like the typical on sleeping habits, as you know, you'll need all the rest you can get in about 2-3 weeks when she really wakes up, heh heh :)). Seems like just yesterday when I saw a post from you that you two learned you were expecting ...:)

Well..... lol, my father-in-law snapped bunches and bunches of pictures, and then had printed off a sampler page so that we could see them.... he had some really great pics. So, I asked him to email some of them to me so I could post, and... lol, he sends 3 pics, 2 of which weren't of Abby, and the one that was, Alex's head was in the way... lol...

Anyway, here's Abby, about 30-minutes old, while lying in the warmer, with Alex's head in the way... (I've shrunk it a bit, it was originally 400kb instead of 50.... )

Abby

As soon as he sends me some others, I'll post them too, after I get them sized down....

Oh, Neal,

Congrats! 8lbs 12oz is big.... Laura's so glad that Abby wasn't as big as Alex was.... he was 9lbs 1oz when he was born... YIKES!!! I just don't want to imagine....

We've just arrived home from the hospital, so I'm gonna run and take care of the honey-do list. I'll post more pics as I can, and keep you all in the loop.

Oh,no!

Add another two future LR fanatics to this string. Ethan and Grace just came home from the hospital yesterday making a total of three.

The missus is fine and we're both looking into medical intervention as we speak to prevent further spread of the Olson genes.

Congratulations to all the new parents out there!

Cheers,

E
