Hello All,

My 99' Disco, bought 3 days ago has 136K mi on it. I was wondering if anyone in the Raleigh, NC area knew of a good repair shop that I could get the disco serviced at ?

I located "Carolina Domestic & Import" and also "Car Place" which service Disco's via yellow pages. Any feeback on these two shops?

I am planning of doing the 120K mi service even though it has 136K mi on the clock as I'd like to have the disco upto date. Also saw some earlier posts on replacing brake pads/ rotors. I'd like to do these not too dificult things by myself and take it up as a hobby. As regards, replacing spark plugs, wires, fluid flushes, hydraulics, I think I'd be better off with a service shop doing it.

Thanks.

Steve,

Thanks for the info. Just called roverclubhouse and they said they'd do an oil service for the 136K mi and give a car a once over free of charge so that I know what needs to be replaced instead of blindly doing the 120K mi service.

Question: Are you sure you are comfortable doing brake repairs but not spark plugs?
