Several of us Colorado Land Rover Owners are planning to get together on Sunday (yes, I know it's Mother's day - bring her) down in Colorado Springs to view the one of the best collections of Land Rovers in the country. Gil Perry has graciously offered to share his collection which includes the famous orange 94 NAS D90 (only one made), a D110, a series IIA ambulance, a 101FC, a series IIA that was in the movie Congo, and several more. After that, we will all head to a restaurant for lunch and BEER! Oh, and conversation. This is also a chance for us Colorado people to meet Chris and Lisa von C of D90 Source fame who will be passing through town this weekend. It'd be really cool to have several people show up since Gil is kind enough to allow us to view his Rovers on Mother's day, plus it would be a great opportunity to meet some other Colorado owners and plan some trips this summer. We will probably meet down in Colorado Springs around 9:30ish. Please contact me directly so I can make reservations for lunch. If you want, there is some interest in doing an easy trail run after lunch. We can discuss this later once we figure out who will be there.
Hope to see you there - please let me know.
Regards,
Art Vigil

Thanks for the tip Brian, that place sounds cool.
I'm not actually running a trail that day since I have to get back to Denver after lunch. I just figured that if people wanted to do that, they could probably find one in the area.
Gil's collection is really cool, it's too bad you and Eric can't make it. Let me know if anything changes.

Okay the details are set. We're meeting at 9:30AM in the Safeway parking lot in Colorado Springs, then driving a couple of miles together to the Airport hanger. We'll decide on lunch once we're all together. It is the Safeway at US 24 and Woodmen. If coming down from Denver, take the Woodmen exit and go east(left hand turn). Go until it dead ends (there is a short detour at Powers and Woodmen). Safeway is at the end of Woodmen. See ya there.

Cool Brian! Hopefully you can make it. I was starting to worry that there'd only be a couple of us.
