Hi, I’m Peter. I have been reading this BBS and using a lot of information.

Today I fixed the rear window problem. Used the instructions posted, removed the circuit box, fixed the bad soldering and replaced the box.

The good news, the rear windows work!!!!

The bad, THE CAR DOES NOT START!!!!

1- The ignition is turning the engine just fine. The car does not start.
2- Also when I locked the doors, the Central Locking System did not locked the other doors.

Any suggestions. I am assuming is an electrical problem.

HELP!!!!

What year do you have? Electrical problems are plentiful with Discos. The drivetrain and engines are workhorses if you can get around the electrical issues and start the damn things!

Have you look at all the fuses. You may have blown one while fixing other problem.

Check the fuses most related to the operation of the engine, not all of them.
