I saw it today at the dealership and it looks REAL nice. The interior scheme makes it look like it was custom. If you remember my DiscoII got totalled and I just bought a new DII, if I had known bout the Westminster, I would have snatched it. Now I'm a little ticked off. but whatever, maybe my brother will but or should he wait for the 2003's?? What are your thoughts on the Westminster???? |

I saw the DII westminster last night, and yes it is real nice...the one i saw was black exterior and black leather interior, and yes it was sweet....but we're waiting for either a kalahari or a 2003 disco II |

There won't be a 2003 Disco II. The 2003 disco will be the up classed looking Disco III. The last of the Disco II will be out mid summer and will be called the Disco IIa. They will have the same DDII look but with the newly positioned fog lamps and maybe the bigger engine. But I could be wrong... |

the 2003 disco will be out in june. it has a revised front and rear, new interiors and the 4.6. go to landrover.com and find "2003 discovery preview" |

oh.. and the westminster is a sort-of 03 preview, as all 03s will offer that same "custom" interior as well those "special design" 18 inch alloys. |

Took delivery of an 02 Westminster edition a month ago. Silver with black interior, new 6 spoke wheels and navigation system. Love it. Had debated waiting for the 03 but wanted the 4.9 financing and Plaza Motors in St. Louis was willing to deal on it. I added the brush bar, 3000 Hella's, rear ladder and tire cover. I've crawled over so many curbs, my wife finally said, "Ok lets take it offroad and get it out of your system". ps she's making the payments |

Time for somebody to post that curb-hopping pic! Dude does pretty well, despite no spotter. Tim, what would it take for your wife to make my payments, too? A real bargain, I think I'm in at 3.9%! I'll trade her something of moderate value....how about I send you Garrett? He's recently volunteered to be a cabana/pool boy, and you don't even need to have a pool. Pay him in lager and he'll follow you anywhere. Think about it, my payment's due this week. Karen |

Karen, The deal is, she makes the payments and gets to drive it to work (most of the time). I can live with that. This is my mid-life crisis vechicle. |

damn karen. i should be worth at least a 2003 model year truck. i mean i am not THAT easy am i? and Tim is a dude. i mean if he was a set of 18 year old swedish twins then i would be in, but i have morals and standards ya know. geeeeeez. we won't even mention the "gay" comment you made about me. the other good stuff made up for that highly inaccurate statement.

I have a good friend that's in the market for a DSII. I told him that if I were in the market, I'd wait for the '03. Larger engine and CDL. But now it's been said that the US won't get the CDL option, but at least it can still be engaged with an after-market kit. With the '02, that's not even an option. |

Garrett, I don't think I called you gay, I think I just said you were really cheerful, didn't I? Sheesh, no thanks at all for getting you paid in your favorite currency, either. Better take what you can get old-timer, you're 30 now! Karen ;) |

Wow, lagers come in 20 packs? The things I don't know, but then, I'm younger than you. Now, don't you think you should get back to work? I might need a loan too, you know. Karen |

Schaefer (now owned by Stroh Brewing Co.) use to come in 30 packs.....'Weekenders' they called them. shit beer, but great for after hours when taste was not an issue. and you can get Rolling Rock in cases of 42. but they are 7-8 oz. bottles.
