My 95 Rangie SWB is getting ready to roll 100k, wondering what recommendations you fellow owners have for 100k maintenance. I've owned my Rangie for almost two years and do basic maintenance myself, i.e. fluid & filter changes. I still have the original air suspension and haven't had any sagging, but still thinking about converting to coil springs and shocks. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

#1 Keep driving it daily- #2 As soon as you suspect an E.A.S fault or experience an E.A.S fault, switch to coils. #3 Keep doing what you are doing regarding frequent fluid changes, and basic maintnance. #4 Keep up with the constant changes in the design, and make of the Land Rover marque. #5 Drive your Classic like you just paid $80,000 for it. I'm sure other Classic owners have more to add, but I'm at 146,000 and it is a daily driver- DC to Baltimore to Columbia MD daily-

I drive mine like I paid $80,000 for it... that's why I have to sell it!!... it's too scary driving such a nice rover around. I think I'll sell this one and buy a beater.. that way I can treat it like it's suppose to, OFF ROAD. (mind you, this is only my personal opinion and do agree that if you have a nice rover you should keep it that way!) |
