I have an '89 RRC, and I am having problems with my front passenger side window switch. Depending on use, I have to replace the switch every 6 months or so. The window rolls down fine, but going up is where I am having the problem. The more I use the switch the harder I have to press it down. It is about to the point that is will not work any more, and I need a new switch. Anybody have any idea why the switches are being eaten?

Just guessing here, but check that window motor to see if it has a short that may be overheating switch.
