Read an article in the latest Fourwheeler on an air spring set up for jeeps that allows the driver to control ride height front to back and side to side from in cab. Looked like a pretty trick setup with touch button controls. Curious if anyone has heard of anything like this for the land rover. It was pretty much just a coil spring replacement with a bunch of sensors and a control unit. the manufacture was I believe Off Road Only www.offroadonly.com just curious for any thoughts on a system like this for the disco.

I have some custom machined spacers out of aluminum that will alow a standard Bridgestone/Firestone tapered-sleeve air spring to bolt into any coil-sprung Land Rover frame.

They're pretty slick, just haven't installed them yet.

I had them made for my CrewCab project up in Portland. I own the CNC program, and the rights to any more manufacturing/distributing.

I haven't tested the market to see if there is a demand for them or not, kind of just did it for me to use on my truck, but if anyone is interested we could talk.

The part about the OffRoadOnly system that I thought was cool was the fact that you can control side to side movement up to 35 deg and front to back up to 15. Just thought that on the trail the forced articulation would have a few benefits. I know that the actual air springs are not that big of deal to install with a little custom fab but that adjustability with the computer controls makes the idea a lot more attractive.

There was an article in Dec or Jan LROM International about a guy with D90 with adjustable air bag suspension.

He said he used the same principle as the "LA style" low-riders. Got the parts out of a bus or something like that.

He had incredible clearance....
