I just bought my first Rover and my mind is whirling with possibilities. Will Disco wheels fit on a 93 Classic? With a 3" lift how large of a tire can I go with and not have to start carving away at my fenders? Anyone got a preference for racks? How hard are they to install? I'm a newb and need to tap into the knowledge possessed by this board. Any tips you could provide me with are greatly appreciated. |

I'm running a 3" lift on my 94 LWB and use 235/85 Cooper CTD (32") tires. They've only really rubbed when I get a bunch of mud on them, otherwise they hardly ever touch. They are a little on the skinny side but if you go wider, you'll need to trim the wheel well. When I get my next set, I will do the mods and go with something a couple of inches wider. Supposedly, if you go taller than 32" you need to start changing your gearing and drive shaft angles because of the extra strain on the transmission and diffs. |
