Whats up people? How do i change the coolant on a 95 Disco. I cant find the plug on the radiator. And what kind of antifreeze should i use? Pls help. Thanks. Mark |

I went to Jiffy Lube because I didnt want to mess with it and have all that left over coolant. Pricey but ohh well. -leo |

Mark: You can risk tearing up the plastic plug on the radiator and siphon from there, or you can pull the lower hose. If you pull the lower hose on a high mileage truck, have a replacement hose handy. If you haven't pulled the plastic plug, have a replacement handy. As for anti-freeze, that is a topic of much contention. I use the cheap green stuff, some will tell you to only use the expensive orange stuff. Either way, use clean water-distilled, deionized, or dehumidifier water. Don't be a Paul and not add any anti-freeze... I have the head job receipts to support this comment. Lastly, if you're doing this to alleviate an overheating condition, it won't-buy a new radiator. Peace, Paul |
