Anyone have any experience replacing their manual seats with power ones? I have a 95 Disco and the leather and foam cushions are shot. I tried going the replacement leather route, but it was going to be prohibitively expensive. I have a line on a pair of power leather seats from a 96 and was wondering how difficult it would be to get them installed and operational. Are the wiring harnesses already under the seat? Any other considerations? I don't have a huge need to put in the power seats, it is just that they seem to be the only ones that are available... Thanks! |

95 would not have a harness as none of them had power from the factory. Seat bases are also different from 95 to 96 Ron |

Todd Let me know if you find good replacements the 95 seats are hard and have little or no cushions. The headrest is also hard as a rock, wouldn't mind something with a little plush or at least a good headrest! |

Tony - About the headrests; If I'm not mistaken, in the original 95 Disco sales / options / accessories booklet they had "plush" covers to go over the standard headrests. I don't know if they're still available, but might be an option.

Hi Chad They should be still available, you have to know what pattern fabric is on your seats to match it up. They are quite expensive, if my memory is still working. Best of luck Pete S |
