i was wondering if you could just drill out the rivets on a 93 lwb. the mud flaps need replacing in the rear and they have these funky plastic rivets holding them in place. any suggestions on replacing them would be great. thanks all |

drill, hacksaw, sawzall, etc. replace with nuts & bolts if you feel the need. |

There's a thread on this out there somewhere, but I took an angle grinder, cut the nuts off and punched out the threaded rivets. New mudflap on, stainless nuts/bolts to hold it on. Done deal. |

keep in mind that even the stock flaps are prone to ripping off when the going gets rough...I don't think they really keep the truck any cleaner either. Maybe they keep spray down for traffic behind you, but you can't take care of everybody... |
