This is for my d90 but you guys seem to be the most knowledgeable - someone caught the backside of my front bumper on the left side -this caused it to bend inward in the middle about 6" and outward on the left end about 6" - This is prob a stupid question but since the bumper is metal is it possible to heat it up and bend it back -might not be perfect but suitable - any help would be appreciated -i'm guessing i have to get a new bumper though -thanks in advance -fb

Have a buddy hook a winch to it in the middle and pull. Use a strap or just secure the hook/cable so it does not slip. Should be enough to put your bumper back to some acceptable shape.

Otherwise, remove, put on the ground, drive over it. j/k :-)

Justification for an aftermarket Rover enhancement product. At least that's what I call all the shit I put on mine....

You can also do wonders with a hi-lift, a chain/strap and a stout tree, especially if you have a Jack Mate or similar accessory that makes hooking a chain more stable. Just be aware that when you energize the system, whether it be with a winch or a hi-lift, if something like a mounting bolt breaks, you should be in a safe position so as not to have the fragments lodge in your body or other surrounding structures.

Although, as Jason ponts out, it is a good excuse for a new "enhancement."
