Has anyone had any experience with these tires.
I particularly like the look of the Xtreme range.
Any comments.
Thanks in advance.

I have a set of 265/75/16 MTs on my Rangie. I haven't had any problems with them. I like them cause they are siped and handle pretty well in the rain for a mud tire.

George Saitanis has a set of the Xterrains (I think in the 305 or 315 size). When I purchased mine they had a special: buy 3 get 1 free with free shipping.

Check out George's Photo Gallery for pics of his D2 with the ProComps.

Roland, I have a set of 305-70-16 MT's on my truck. I like them so far. As John mentioned, they are siped and handle really well on road and are really good in the mud. I have found them to be not really noisey on the road either. I do however think the compound is a little soft, so I don't think they will have a long life. But I am willing to trade that for grip on and off the road.

I had a set of the Extreme weather AT's on my D90 in the 305/70/R16 size. They behave very well on road on dry, wet, and snow/ice conditions, but the damn things don't wear out fast enough. I finally just took them off so I could put my BFG MT's on :-)

Thanks again everyone for the info. Can I pick your brains one more time?
Mike: I particularly like the 305x70x16's. How did you cope with the extra width, that is, how far outside of the guards do they protrude, also how much of a lift did you do.
