Check engine light came on yesterday, '95 Disco. Checked the OBD reader under the seat, code was 19, looked it up and that's the Throttle Potentiometer. I hadn't had any symptoms that are usually associated with that, so I disconnected the battery last night and the check engine light went out, but code 02 was showing. Drove into work this morning, check engine light came back on, and now there are no codes. WTF? |

02 code is the all reset code, happens when you push the reset button located under dash behind the glove box. If no more codes are read by the computer the reset light should go away. I know my read out is so faint that I hardly read it in the day light. |

What year is the reset button on? I don't think there is one on a '95. |

Here's an update-light was back on, and showing code 17, I disconnected the battery at lunch, and no codes have come back on. I was clearing the codes because I'm not having any of the associated problems, so my guess now is that Lucas is just making sure I know he's still there |
