I just bought a 5" RTE coil spring lift... i thought that i could do it myself but realized about 10 min into it that i couldn' one that know's websites that give detailed info or know anything please help me out.

You're already there.. Go to the |tech| link above, then look under Suspension, then spring, shock install.

I just did my OME HD springs / shocks /etc tonight. I am still not complete. I have found the task quite easy, with exception to the front shock tower (bottom) nuts. The drivers side came off easily, but I spent 6.5 hours with the passenger side.

Nothing is worse than working in a 2 inch by 3 inch space with a stripped nut that will not come off without WWIII occuring.

The front of the truck is now complete. I need to buy an extension to my 1/2 compressed air impact wrench to reach the rear shocks. The nut is on there SOOO tight, it is like the fronts. yet, due to the angle; no impact wrench can reach it without an extension.

Anyways, all nut problems aside, the actual time doing the work takes about 2 hous (being relaxed).

i did mine the other day. had a "friend" help me. took us just under 12 hours. my "mate" was more interested in drinkin my alchol and talking dirty bout my girl. but all in all it was a fairly simple job..
