Pls tell me how to remove the fuel filter for my 95 Disco. What size wrench do i need for the job. Pls help. Thanks. |

Just changed mine today...you need a 1/2 inch wrench and socket to loosen the bracket. 5/8th for the nuts on the fuel line and a crescent (or adjustable, depending on where you live--got to get more tools!) wrench to hold the filter. Remember to release the pressure at the fuel rail before you start. You'll still get a small amount of gas after from the the engine-side fuel line. takes maybe 15 minutes. Cheers! |

Mark: It is very common for the nuts to have rusted onto the fuel line. Be prepared for a difficult time. If needed, you can cut the line and use hose and hose barbs. |

I just changed mine saturday too. Very easy, but like Paul says I am sure if no one ever changed it you could be in trouble with a seized fitting. -leo |

I think you need a Metric Crescent wrench for the one side of the filter fitting. |

Some of the more expensive Crescent wrenches ar SAE on one side, and metric on the other... |
