Interesting. I noticed something simular last night on the drivers side. I backed out of my garage and closed the garage door. Once closed, I noticed my beam pattern on the door. The drivers side looked like a flashlight that had 10 seconds of battery power left.

I flashed my brights, and the problem went away. Both lights were back to normal. Today when installing my OME springs / shocks I noticed quite a bit of crud on my battery terminals. I cleaned those up, and checked the connections to the bulb. Everything is well now, and I have yet had the dim light come back.

Check the bulb too.

Mike

I had the same problem on the drivers side. When it went dim I could wiggle the fuse for that high beam and it go bright for a while and then dim again. I finally wedged something in beside the fuse to hold it tight. No problems for 6 months now. Charles

Dirty headlight connectors. You may be able to just pull the connector off and back on a few times to scrape the contacts clean.

Or find something pointy to scrape the corrosion of of them. Spray electronics cleaner is good too.

Once you get them clean a little dielectric grease will help keep them from getting that way in the future.

I had the same problem on my passenger side light. It was a bad ground wire, I wired a new one. It's been working fine now for ove a year.
