in the tech section about the fender relocation. what is the repair brace? is this something i could buy? or do i need to make it myself out of a flat piece of bar? |

This is a standard piece of hardware, available in most stores. I got mine at a Home Depot. They are strips of metal that come in various lengths, angles, thickness,with holes pre-drilled in them. I think I used one that was a half inch wide by four inches long. What ever size is available should work, so long as you can hack it down and bend it to fit. It helps if the hole sizes are appropriate for the pre-existing bolts on your truck. If I had a pic, you'd recognize it. |

ok cheers. i guess they would have them in a plce ike bunnings then. are they called a specific name or just look for a bar with holes..hahah |

Bunnings ? You must be Down-Under. Yes. A place like Bunnings would certainly have them. Might be called Mending Braces, Strap Ties, or Mending Plates. Just a strip of metal with holes in it. Just bend them to fit using plyers and a vice. Good luck ! |
