TD5 Oil Pumps

I have recently heard accounts of oil pump failure on these units at around 60k kms (40k miles). The failure reportedly not only results in oil pump problems, but more importantly, damage to the crankcase and severe problems (financial). Speak to Ward Freeland, he's a wealth of info. I'm only up to 17k with my Td5 and have had no problems so far.
