All those people that are into brands suck wads (IMHO). Wheeling is just a bunch of guys and gals that are tying to have some fun. H2’s suck, LR’s suck, Jeep’s suck, Toyota’s suck (oh they do suck, never mind+). Anyways isn’t it getting old and boring?

It doesn’t matter what the heck you drive, they all do different things in different ways. Is there any non brand, non state off-road forums out there? Or does someone need to start one?

Here are some pics of what I just started to find fun.

Interesting man-fish you have there in the aquarium. Is it true that they will grow to the size of the tank? What do you feed that critter?

:-)

Alec,

I saw you guys at a restaurant yesterday near Divide but I didn't have time to stop. Good pictures. Were you guys able to get by the squeeze part?

As we ran Chinman's I was looking to see if H2 would be able to make the trail and I think it is wide enough.

Brian an H2 is about 2 inches wider that every other freaking GM full size truck. That is good and bad on the trails. It all comes down to driver guts.

Alec,
I see what you are saying. I have a Toyota (that most assuredly does not suck!) and I spend a lot of time here, on Jeep boards, and the Toyota boards. Sometimes the "this sucks, that sucks" ranting gets annoying that's for sure.

Considering we are ALL doing the same exact thing, driving our 4x4's off road, you would expect a bit more comradery.

I find that on the trails, no one really cares. It's (mostly)only with the anonymity of the internet that people get all brand-nazi.

Alec,

I see you've made a trip to the TCI. Were you diving with Art Pickering (I saw the tee shirt)? I recognize a lot of those places. First time I ever rode around in a D110 was down there. Did you stay at Caribbean Paradise Inn? Just looking at the exteriors and trying to figure where you were.

Alec:

I been telling folks here that I like them H2s, but the price tag is mighty steep for an uneducated guy like me. Anyhow, your idea sounds good and I like all sorts of American rigs - I can even play nice with Japanese rigs when it comes down to it! Keep us updated on how it's going and I'll visit your site and check on her.

Nice aquarium - are those fish good eatin'? They look to nice to eat and 450 gallons is a whopper. I only seen a 100gal of saltwater my buddy used for Triggers and a Bamboo Shark.

Take Care

Steve, you should come out here one of these days, like Brian said Colo is where it's at. I don't know how long of a drive it is, but it takes about 11 hours to drive from here to Vagas and you probably know how far the other way it is.

Karen, yep Art Pickering's company is a class act. Lots of fun. We stayed at the Turtle Cove Inn.

David, I was joking about the Toyota. I think you got that though.

Ron what's RC?

Brian D, Yes I am a dork, proud of it too. Life's to short to be serious all the time.

Ron, I don't belong to any aquerium forums. Last time I looked at one was literally years ago. One of these days I'll take some pictures of my setup, the tank has been running for about 2 years now and is starting to get established. It's not a hobby for those in a hurry. It's amazing that I still find critters that I did not know were in there. Just the other day I saw a crab that I don't know I had. Is this one of your hobbies too?

Hey Alec,

Yeah it is. I have a 75 gal. reef thats been running now for 4 years. Keep me posted with pics, I bet with all that room the tank must be looking awesome by now.

I think its the only hobby that can come with pleasant surprises over time.

Peace
Ron

Ron, when i take some new pics i'll try to remember to email you a link. Actually it's got a lot of space left. 600lb of live rock, about 15 corrals (one has grown to be about 1 foot high now), 2 clams, mushrooms spreading everywhere, few shrimps, and about 15 fish (3 are yellow tangs that live well togeather surprisingly).
