Ok, Vehicle is a 94' Disco 1 (USA) I yanked out the seats, carpeting, etc and just finished hiding 140ft for misc. Wire under the carpeting of my Rover. Rangien from 18ga to 4ga in size. :-) NOw I go to put the Pass Side seat back in and I can NOT figure out how the Wiring Harness was routed that goes to the little ECU that sits under the Seat. It seems that it is supposed to go under the front of the seat bracket where there is approximately a 1" Notch in the Seat Bottom Sheetmetal for it to slide under the seat. Then on the rear it seems it must exit on the inside edge of the seat bottom between ythe bracket and the Transmission tunnel. Then curve around the Rear Inside Bolt/upright and plug into the ECU. Problem is, If I do this the entire weight of the Seat and Passenger is pinching the ECU Harness wires. This cant be good. But I didnt' look closely enough when I pulled the seat out. Oops Any help much appreciated. IF worst comes to worst I'll just go down to the dealer and look at a Used D1 and see what it does. THanks Todd |

i can't answer your question, but for now, if you access to a digtial camera take some pics so that when you go to put it back together if you get lost you have a place to go back to for reference. i would also invlove the camera in all future work. i used this techinque when i was tearing apart and rebuilding my race bikes. it really helps. good luck. mike w |
