Can a cracked exhaust manifold that is leaking bad affect my idle. Could the O2 sensor be getting a reading that would make it adjust the way my D1 idles. If I come to a stop and the car doesnt die, turning the radio on or rolling up the window will kill it. Just trying to sort out a seriously frustrating problem.

I had my passenger side manafold crack in half last year and this year the driver side is now crack! Any idea why this happens?

I haven't had any idle problems with the crack manafold, but the service engine light is now on.
