Finally, after a few hours of swearing, got the alternator on there. Three things I wasn't ready for though. (1)Had to purchase a new serpentine belt since it had to be a touch longer (2)Had to temporarily remove fan shroud until I can cut it b/c it rested on the new alternator, and (3)had to temporarily remove insulation under hood due to the spinning blades on the alternator rubbing. All in all, it should have been a 30 minute process, and if anyone out there needs info. on installing theirs in the future, I'm here for ya and I can take pictures for ya.. Later.. RS |
